Introduction

The progam can split and splice style files in two parts: The MIDI part and the non-MIDI part.

Most MIDI sequencer software can not handle the non-MIDI part in Yamaha Style Files.

When the style file is splitted, the MIDI part can be edited in any MIDI sequencer software.

After editing the original non-MIDI part must be spliced to the edited MIDI part.

Program Operation

Select style file to split:
- Select menu File | Open Style File to Split
The user is asked where to save the two splitted style parts.

Select style file folder to split:
- Select menu File | Open Style File to Split
The style parts are automatically saved in the selected source folder.

Select style file parts to splice:
- Select menu File | Open Files to Splice
The user is asked for a new style file name; and which two style parts to splice.
(For security reasons there is no automatic splice function).

Select menu File | Exit to end the program.
