| The MultiPad sounds do not transmit ever
to the MIDI output ports, and they do not record to
floppy songs either. This means that the pad sounds can
not be heard via MIDI on a remote tone generator, much
less recorded-out via MIDI. A workaround might be: Format a floppy disc on the PSR 740 Record and save your own User Pad Copy it to harddisk and rename to *.mid Make the editting in any MIDI-software Rename it back and save it to the floppy disc, replacing the existing one Load to PSR and enjoy. |
This is supposed to be the only good way
to add your own multi pads to your living performance. Please notice, that you must make your own Multi Pad somewhere (in any MIDI-software) ONLY in Cmaj7 in order to make it chord-matched later, when you'll load it into PSR and choose MULTI PAD EDIT function. |
